About the Captain

A Florida Keys resident for 30 years, Captain Brian knows the pristine blue waters of the Keys like the back of his hand. Having been raised on a small 12-mile long island that is Longboat Key, he grew up surrounded by water. With this much proximity to the enticing ocean waves, he grew up with a passion for anything on the water : be it fishing, diving, sailing, boating, snorkeling and many other varied water sports activities. His 30-plus years of extensive commercial and charter fishing experience ensures every fishing trip will be a memorable one. The past 20 years Captain Brian has been perfecting his skills in the art of daytime sword fishing as much as possible. Other than that, he’s bridge fishing for tarpon, catching tuna or dolphin offshore, or reef fishing for dinner. He spends the better part of his days fishing, teaching fishing techniques, catching bait, or just simply enjoying and sharing the sea life with whoever wants to explore what the Florida Keys waters offer. Captain Brian is also a licensed pilot, and fortunately, the Keys are an ideal location for that activity as well.
